He first appeared in Justice League of America # 46 (October 1962).He was one of the greatest dangers that the Earth 1 and Earth 2 ever faced. The mere presence of him in any of the universes could mean the end of these worlds. Fortunately, the Justice League and Justice Society managed to stop it through joint effort.This story was the admitted first time that Neil Gaiman saw the character of Sandman (Wesley Dodds), which inspired him to love the character and create the Sandman (Morfeus) in 1989.
